The progression-friendly Fun.Kink is a directional twin that is ready to conquer the whole mountain. Carbon SuperTubes™ are added for pop and response, and we’ve replaced the classic ABS sidewalls with poured-in urethane (yep, same material as skateboard wheels) for stronger adhesion and better durability.

Nose Sidebase Uplift
The gradual side base uplift in the nose determines how the board will behave on snow. Most affected are the edge to edge performance and the uplift generated when riding powder.
Tail Sidebase Uplift
The gradual side base uplift in the tail determines how the board will behave on snow. Any amount of uplift brings all the benefits of Triple Base Technology making our boards more versatile than others.
Camber Profile
Camber profiles are defined from low to high. Higher camber make for more dynamic boards that need to be ridden more aggressively to get maximum performance. Lower camber boards are smoother on lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail. Higher is not always better...
3D Shape
Combining the responsiveness of traditional tip-to-tail camber with the dynamic shaping properties of Triple Base Technology and the performance boosting Sidekick feature makes for a 3D snowboarding experience like no other.
At the heart of every Bataleon is a combination of 3BT™ and positive camber. It’s an innovative solution to the profile puzzle that minimizes the potential for edge-catch without sacrificing ollie power or carving performance. From this starting point, we fine-tune each element according to the boards desired riding style.
SideKick™ builds on the concept of Triple Base by increasing the sidebase uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. The tips become more like a hull, boosting float in deep snow and slicing through crud. It also helps the board to roll quickly and evenly from edge to edge.
Supertubes™ are hollow carbon cylinders that are inserted directly into the core. They reinforce the camber, reduce weight and greatly increase pop. By varying their location we can fine-tune the board’s performance further.
Bi-Ax Lamination
A traditional two-way weave that is light, strong and playful; it keeps the board snappy without adding torsional stiffness, which is great for getting creative.
Core Core
Full poplar with hardwood beech stringers to strengthen the boards backbone, reinforce the inserts and increase pop.

Hasta ahora he tenido una tabla allmountain de 15 años con camber tradicional y bastante dura. El cambio ha sido abismal, he estado haciendo trucos y probando cosas nuevas sin casi ni un contra canto. Muy manejable y bonita. Se comporta muy bien en pista y en park. Muy buena compra.
Got to ride this board a few times this season, and this is the most fun I've ever had on a snowboard. Still does well at high speeds and has a decent amount of flex if you want to get into park. Overall, an amazing snowboard.
I recently picked up the Funkink, but unfortunately had to go with the 151 since the 154 was sold out. That said, this board absolutely rips! The 3BT tech makes buttering way more fun and gives me the freedom to get a bit more playful and crazy on the mountain. Overall, super impressed with how well it rides and definitely glad I grabbed it.

This board is amazing. Catching an edge is impossible and this truly is a “fun” time. You won’t regret shredding the mountain in this board.
Gotta love 3BT, totally changes the way you snowboard, and still gives you edges to play with. If you haven’t tried it yet, it’s definitely worth a try!
I've been riding stiffer boards recently and was wanting to switch it up and try something a little looser and try to progress my skills in the park a little more as well. This board definitely checked those boxes for me. I had so much fun on this board this season, and it quickly became my daily driver too. It's pretty playful and has a lot of flex to it which made butters and other tricks super easy on this board. At first, it did feel a little sketchy going fats because of how light it is, I felt like I was feeling the whole mountain under my feet, but with how responsive the board is, getting edge to edge is really easy and fast which gave me the confidence back when I'm flying down the mountain. The 3BT technology also makes it really hard to catch an edge and wipe out, which also made me feel a lot better about going fast on this board or trying out some new tricks. Overall, I really love this board and will for sure be keeping it in the quiver for a long time and will be one of my favorite boards that I have.

Great board if you aim for park and resorts , super stable at any conditions , won’t float as much in POW and won’t be really flex to do tricks and bend the snowboard it’s more as a stiff board with a bit of flex i will say

Got it for a friend and it changed his life after using an oversized old Burton Custom.
I bought my first Bataleon being super curious about 3bt tech and the overall shape of the board. In my Snowboard group in Portugal we have more than a few CAPiTA die hard fans (rightfully so) and most of them were somewhat suspicious about Bataleon and 3bt, none of them had ever seen anything related to Bataleon. I can honestly say I am more than happy to have made my research and about my decision to try something different and new, to give a brand that was until then unknown to me as well, a chance. The board feels super light and flexible without being mushy (it has some pop and is easy to load) it responds quickly and it's more than capable in light carving. If there's something I would point out is that the top coat feels a bit too soft and prone to damage, I mean, who doesn't hate the feeling of those first dings showing up on your new board?
In any case, it won't be my last Bataleon board, and probably not the only one in my group.
Just got the new Fun.Kink as my first new board in 20+ years (previously rode Burton Shaun White) and the thing absolutely blew me away. I figured there would be some kind of adjustment period as I’ve never ridden a non-traditional shaped board before…. Nope!! It instantly felt like the best riding snowboard I’ve ever experienced, has a nice amount of flex and pop, and handled all of the super fast strait bombing runs I could throw at it. Never caught an edge…. Love the new technology
Great board! I love the mid flex and the graphic is sick as f#%k! It’s my first new board in 20 years and I’m glad I made the choice to pick one up.
The fun.kink was the perfect board for me (just getting back into boarding after 12 years). It’s so soft but has just enough stability to get you through those icy patches.
3BT is the truth! Named very appropriately. So. much. fun.
Rode for the first time on some softer spring conditions like snow and this thing was a blast. Great pop out the jumps and forgiveness in landings. The color way also draws a lot of attention and stands out!
It definitely is not the most stable board on high speed carving but it gets the job done. Floats well through untouched snow.
I have been using burton custom boards for many years so I wanted to try something new. perfect for anyone who wants to try a slightly softer and playful board. The 3d shape has helped me a lot with butters and landing tricks
Unfortunately, it was poorly packaged and I received a slightly damaged board. The box was open on both ends and had been retaped because original tape was torn. Not sure if I was sent a returned board or it was just poorly taped and USPS had to put tape on it.
I was really looking forward to trying out the board this season, so I requested an exchange, but Bataleon stated I could only receive a discount or return the board. Considering the only bad review I found, was how easily the board chipped, I did not want to accept a board that was damaged prior to being used.
I understand things happen, but was disappointed by the fact they didn't replace the board, which is why I'm giving 2 stars.

Seriously! I am not at the full send off a jump good, but I can keep up well on a diamond with some style and this board has given me the confidence to start and try those bigger features on the mountain. I still eat shit most of the time, but this board is so stable and responsive that the confidence to try is all I need. I couldn’t recommend this board more for beginners to the more advanced.

I got the 162w (215lbs, 6'1", size 12US boot), looks beautiful and rides beautifully. I was using a Ride Berzerker before this and it was way out of my league, this board doesn't kick my ass at all. The Fun.Kink feels perfect for my style (park/freestyle) nice and flexy, I'm already learning smooth butters and having fun jibbing on my little backyard box setup! Checks all the boxes for me and I'd recommend for park riders and beginner's or a combo of both like me!
Probably the best decision I have ever made. After not riding for over 20 years I decided to get back into it and the Bataleon Fun.Kink just made it alot easier. The 3bt scoop makes it so much more forgiving and you will thank yourself for it.
Only a beginner and had one other board before this but it doesn't compare at all. I've definitely progressed quicker on this board it's confidence inspiring, would highly recommend 👌
This board was the most fun I’ve ever had snowboarding, the 3BT techno was amazing
So, I have been riding 30+ years, some years 10x/year some years more some none. I was looking for a board that can lean over on groomers but is forgiving when riding at slower speeds with the fam. I will spend a little time in the park and pipe and the board does everything I need it to do. It took a few runs to get used to the different ride from a flat traditional chambered board. I have a size 11 us boot and weight 240. I ride 159w mostly in michigan. Great board for this 40+ year old. It does butter well too!

Board is fun but is definitely sloppy. Board has a lot of flex and can get pushed around back country. Super fun board for beginner/ intermediate riders but will definitely hinder further progression!
