Softer snowboards are easier to press and won't kick your ass if you make a mistake. Stiffer decks are more stable at speed and super responsive edge-to-edge. Choose your poison.

Shape

Outline Shape

Nose Sidebase Uplift

Low

The gradual side base uplift in the nose determines how the board will behave on snow. Most affected are the edge to edge performance and the uplift generated when riding powder.

Tail Sidebase Uplift

Low

The gradual side base uplift in the tail determines how the board will behave on snow. Any amount of uplift brings all the benefits of Triple Base Technology making our boards more versatile than others.

Camber Profile

Low Camber

Camber profiles are defined from low to high. Higher camber make for more dynamic boards that need to be ridden more aggressively to get maximum performance. Lower camber boards are smoother on lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail. Higher is not always better...

3D Shape

3BT™ & Sidekick™

Combining the responsiveness of traditional tip-to-tail camber with the dynamic shaping properties of Triple Base Technology and the performance boosting Sidekick feature makes for a 3D snowboarding experience like no other.

Features

Technology Technology

At the heart of every Bataleon is a combination of 3BT™ and positive camber. It’s an innovative solution to the profile puzzle that minimizes the potential for edge-catch without sacrificing ollie power or carving performance. From this starting point, we fine-tune each element according to the boards desired riding style.

3D shaping 3D shaping

SideKick™ builds on the concept of Triple Base by increasing the sidebase uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. The tips become more like a hull, boosting float in deep snow and slicing through crud. It also helps the board to roll quickly and evenly from edge to edge.

Construction Construction

Supertubes™ are hollow carbon cylinders that are inserted directly into the core. They reinforce the camber, reduce weight and greatly increase pop. By varying their location we can fine-tune the board’s performance further.

Construction

Glassing Glassing

Bi-Ax Lamination

A traditional two-way weave that is light, strong and playful; it keeps the board snappy without adding torsional stiffness, which is great for getting creative.

Woodcore Woodcore

Light Core

50/50 Paulownia and poplar creates a balanced core that’s lively yet strong.

Base Base

Hyper Glide S

Our standard sintruded base that’s durable and fast – and even faster when you keep it waxed.

Sidewalls Sidewalls

Flex Walls

Our Urethane Poured Sidewalls offer exceptional shock absorption, reducing chatter and vibration for a smoother, more stable ride. Flexwalls provide flexibility and resilience, allowing the board to maintain its integrity even in extreme conditions. With superior impact resistance, they ensure your snowboard performs at its peak, season after season.

Inserts Inserts

24 Inserts

A-grade German stainless steel inserts make sure you are locked to your board. These high quality inserts can take years of binding stance switches.

Layup & Laminate Layup & Laminate

Carbon Stringers

Our tried and true carbon layups. We've used them in different areas to fine-tune the feel of each model.

Tech Tech

C.S.T. SuperTubes

Central Super Tube, a single Super Tube down the middle of the board enhances pop without stiffening the board torsionally. Great for jibbing.

Aramid X-Ply

Exclusively featured in our Plus Series, Aramid X-Ply provides full perimeter 3D reinforcement, delivering exceptional torsional stability and improved damping capabilities. This advanced material ensures your board remains resilient and responsive, even in the most demanding conditions. With Aramid X-Ply, experience enhanced control, reduced vibration, and a smoother ride, making it the perfect choice for riders seeking peak performance

It’s just great….

Great board, super light and flexible I bought it just for ground tricks after doing a lot of research and testing some boards I was very impressed by it. 💯

148 Disaster

Super fun board, very flexy flexy, forgiving and an attention-getter. Everyone loves this thing. Very light. This is my first true camber board and I can press it as well as my old v-rocker Joystick. I paired it with Union Flight Pro bindings and I'm a happy camper.

25 model looks way different in person

First off, this is the worst build quality of the 20+ snowboards I have purchased over the years. I won't be purchasing from Bataleon ever again. Enjoy the board, rides fun for park but hate the stupid poka dot graphics on the tip and tail. The board looks way different in person than the pics. Topsheet has a lot more white to it, which looks grey in the pics. I find it distracting like the board wants to give me a seizure. But really I think it can mess with depth perception. I would return it if I hadn't removed the wrapping. Someone will get a good deal on eBay .

Park/jib monster

The disaster plus is the most playful board I have ridden hands down. The torsional flex makes rails way less intimidating knowing that even if you don’t land perfectly on the rail the board contours to it leaving you with an awesome locked in feel. Bataleon nailed this board I would recommend this deck to anybody trying to advance in the park.

Best Jib Stick out there!

Switching from a mid stiff (5.5/10) board to the Disaster+ was an amazing decision. This thing rips in the park and is so much fun on the ground too. You can literally just throw tricks and the 3BT will save you almost every time. If you’re doing anything other than going straight onto features, this thing will work wonders for you. Highly recommend!

Disaster 157

Super fun, soft buttery board, This thing is like a cheat code! Great for park. I would recommend something stiffer for all-mtn or larger park jumps. Love the 3BT, should have gotten one of these years ago!

5/5 for what its made for

If your looking for a hardcore carving board for grinding up the mountain or looking to send it on some huge jumps, this board is not for you because this thing was built for jibbing and buttering, the flex on this thing is unreal, probably the softest board I've ridden which makes it so fun and effortless for buttering not to mention the 3BT, making it near impossible to catch an edge. but despite the softness, the super tubes in the +series version gives it a surprising amount of tail and nose pop, especially if your lightweight like me, making flat tricks and popping on and off of features a treat, with the lower profile camber and wider 3BT base making box spins a walk in the park. The softness of the disaster+ does take away stability when landing for bigger jumps so I usually stick to jibbing features with this but if you are a higher level snowboarder, you can make it work and the triple base has saved me from catching that edge on multiple occasions. but even so, this board is so light, tricks of any kind are a breeze and yet to me the board does not feel like it will break at any point, this thing is strong for how flexy it is, also bonus points for looking clean as hell.
Point is, the disaster+ is the most fun and most unique board I've rode in a while, all the park rats at my resort loved it so much that it came to a point where I didn't know who had the board anymore because of how much it was passed around, but it didn't take long to find out: just had to look for the person having the most fun and shredding the hardest. epic board, thanks as always bataleon, never fail to impress.

Bataleon Disaster +

Insane

I bought this board because I was looking for something smaller and more flexible than other boards I have ridden in the past and I was not disappointed. The flex on the board adds a great pop but is also very stable when making hard carves. I highly recommend this board for anyone who wants a more park oriented board!

Perfect for park and butters

Love the raised edges that help for butters as to not catch an edge. Very popy board that is good on jumps and rails.

Great for flat ground and chill park laps

This board is super fun for flat ground tricks like butters and presses. It is easy to flex and has a massive sweet spot for presses, and feels very stable on rails. It also feels super light. If I could only have one board to do everything, it would not be my first choice, but it is a great playful addition to the quiver. If you're looking at the wide, be advised that this one is real wide, almost a centimeter bigger at the waist than my Public and Academy wides, which took a little getting used to.

My 14 year old says....

In response to a buddy of his on Instagram when asked about how he likes his Bataleon board his response was "best decision of my riding career. You should get 1"

Luke_snowbord absolutely has fallen in love with the Bataleon boards. He is into his third board and he rides them in the park, races snowboard cross, and competes in USASA competitions. The boards get used daily and he punishes them. The durability is really good, but better yet the customer service when some damage happened was top notch.

Thank you Bataleon for honoring your products and walking us through the purchase and shipping of a replacement board.

Keep on following Luke! He is doing some great things.

Disaster is a must!

I’ve tried a couple of boards but this one is awesome! Smooth and flexible! Great for begginers - intermediate snowboarders! Happy with the purchase

Exactly what I wanted.

Usually ride directional twins on the stiffer side. Wanted a true twin on the flexy side to adventure into the butter and jib worlds. Usually ride 163w (I’m 6’3 200 lbs) and got a 156w. The low camber is poppy but forgiving. And despite it being super flexy, holds a sharp edge and still cruises at speed. Different at first but once I got used to it it’s INCREDIBLE. Totally recommend it !

Perfect board for park, freestyle, and all mountain riders 🏔️ 🏂

I got this board back in 2020 and had to get another because of how much I love it. I’m a snowboarding instructor with a passions for freestyle and park riding. This board meets all my needs,. I absolutely love it flexibility and and playfulness. Don’t even get me started on the 3BT, since I started riding this brand I haven’t caught an edge in years.
I do recommend a wide board for those with a shoe size of 11.5 or bigger, I found myself having a lot of toe and heel drag and heavy high edge turns with a regular width.
Have fun out there and stay safe! 🤘🏻

Disaster for life! 🔥🤙🏻

I’m 6’’1” and weight 165 lbs. Shoe size 11.5.
I have been riding bataleon for 4 years now, and I will never go back to Burton. The 3BT is truly ground breaking and innovative. Couldn’t tell you the last time I caught an edge. My last board was a 2021 Disaster and I this was the best all around mountain board and absolutely killer in the park for rails and butters. I did get a bit of toe and heal drag when laying down heavy turns so I decided to upgrade the the 2025 disaster + 156W. I can not wait to take it out this season. 🏂
