Pow

What’s this board’s natural home? Full send in the park? Elbows down on the trails? Or chucking roosters somewhere off grid?

Flex

3.0

Softer snowboards are easier to press and won’t kick your ass if you make a mistake. Stiffer decks are more stable at speed and super responsive edge-to-edge. Choose your poison.

Float Ratio

57

Maximum volume for surfy vibes in the pow, or a smaller surface area for nimble freestyle performance. This number is calculated with length, width, 3D shape and surface distribution.

Outline Shape

Twin

Boards that are shaped for the park are designed with maximum center base width and minimal side base uplift. Creating a stable landing platform with confidence boosting forgiveness and next level agility. Think about your tricks not about your edges.

Nose Sidebase Uplift

Low

The gradual side base uplift in the nose determines how the board will behave on snow. most effected are the edge to edge performance and the uplift generated when riding powder.

Tail Sidebase Uplift

Low

The gradual side base uplift in the tail determines how the board will behave on snow. Any amount of uplift brings all the benefits of Triple Base Technology making our boards more versatile then others.

Camber Profile

Low Camber

Camber profiles are defined from low to high. Higher camber make for more dynamic boards that need to be ridden more aggressively to get maximum performance. Lower camber boards are smoother on lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail. higher is not always better...

3D Shape

3BT™ + Sidekick™

Combining the responsiveness of traditional tip-to-tail camber with the dynamic shaping properties of Triple Base Technology and the performance boosting Sidekick feature makes for a 3D snowboarding experience like no other.

Glassing

Bi-Ax
Lamination

A traditional two-way weave that is light, strong and playful; it keeps the board snappy without adding torsional stiffness, which is great for getting creative.

Woodcore

Light
Core

50/50 Paulownia and poplar creates a balanced core that’s lively yet strong.

Special Sauce

C.S.T.
Super Tubes

Central Super Tube, a single Super Tube down the middle of the board enhances pop without stiffening the board torsionally. Great for jibbing.

Base

Hyper
Glide S

Our standard sintered base that’s durable and fast – and even faster when you keep it waxed.

Layup & Laminate

Carbon
Stringers

Our tried and tested carbon layups. We deploy them in different areas to fine-tune the feel of each model.

Sidewalls

Solid Walls
Sidewall

We use tried and trusted ABS sidewalls for most of the collection. For the best flex to strength ratio.

Base

Flip
Flop Base

Die-cut bases are like a jigsaw. Flip Flop minimizes waste by using two or more color options for each piece. That means more unique graphics and less environmental harm.

At the heart of every Bataleon is a combination of 3BT™ and positive camber. It’s an innovative solution to the profile puzzle that minimizes the potential for edge-catch without sacrificing ollie power or carving performance. From this starting point, we fine-tune each element according to the boards desired riding style.

SideKick™ builds on the concept of Triple Base by increasing the sidebase uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. The tips become more like a hull, boosting float in deep snow and slicing through crud. It also helps the board to roll quickly and evenly from edge to edge.

Supertubes™ are hollow carbon cylinders that are inserted directly into the core. They reinforce the camber, reduce weight and greatly increase pop. By varying their location we can fine-tune the board’s performance further.

Our skate inspired WallieTips™ will change the way you look park features and give you added confidence when approaching obstacles.

NOTE: If you are at the upper end of the boot size range, you might consider a wide board to hit the sweet spot for deep carving and float in pow.

Progress monster

Have it 11 months already. Did 99+ new tricks, hit M, L -size jumps, rode 15m rails, broke rib, regret nothing.

Must have for park rider who want a poppy noodle.

This board has been a dream so far, I can't stop buttering all over the mountain its so fun! I had seen things about the board no being able to hold up as well as others at high speeds and big carves but after doing a couple of runs where I just pointed and went it held up suprisingly well and i had no problems with it. Small side hits and medium jump are awesome with this board you can really feel the catch free 3bt in action especially for rails and small jibs. Overall impression of this board is a must have in your park/freestyle board arsenal.

Update!

I’ve only been able to take my 154 wide wallie out twice now and I have to say…exceeded expectations. I was really worried I made the wrong choice, Love the aesthetic of this board but for functionality I had my eye on the Whatever also, which I plan on buying that board as well for upcoming Rockies trips. But the wallie! I had all sorts of people asking me (and complimenting the board) how it handled and my answer was…a lot better than expected. Maybe the wide gives it just a little more stability, I was hitting choppy ass black diamond pow and it was a dream on this thing. This board is sick, i definitely have a better time hitting rails and boxes at 30 with this thing than I ever did at 18 with my 158 forum recon. What’s crazy to me is my first day out which was a day training beginners, I ended up with a very small chip/peel towards the front but the second day out I was hitting tree runs and def scraped against a rock face but no damage lol. I’m assuming the little chip happened in the lift line, probably even my fault who knows, who cares, it’s a tiny chip, this board wasn’t made for durability but it’s more durable than I ever expected. Either way I look at it, I feel progression with this board, with how much easier it makes park and honestly if you’re a serious snowboarder, you’re up for a challenge always, if someone says the board can’t handle pow or groomers…do just that, make that snow your bitch with whatever you’re on, this board can be more all around than you think, just ride more and don’t worry like I did if you bought this board and are having second thoughts, ride it. You’ll see, it’s fun.

Noodley noodle of fun

This board is a noodle and super fun to ride. Been hitting all mountain and park with it, I'd clasify myself as expert on mountain riding and like intermediate-ish in park and have been having a great time leveling up my skills with this board. Definitely worth it and the graphics are killer and look awesome in person.

Great board!

If you skateboard the only board you should ride is a Bataleon. The sidekick gives you forgiveness you need and want on your edges.
