New for this year is the Party Wave Twin, an ultra wide freestyle powder board inspired by everyone’s favorite all mountain fun board. Thanks to 3BT we’re able to make ultra wide boards like the Party Wave and Party Wave twin that still feel nimble under foot because of the lifted contact points and narrow center base area. This board turns the whole mountain into a terrain park and excels in powder conditions.

Pow

What’s this board’s natural home? Full send in the park? Elbows down on the trails? Or chucking roosters somewhere off grid?

Flex

5.0

Softer snowboards are easier to press and won’t kick your ass if you make a mistake. Stiffer decks are more stable at speed and super responsive edge-to-edge. Choose your poison.

Float Ratio

69

Maximum volume for surfy vibes in the pow, or a smaller surface area for nimble freestyle performance. This number is calculated with length, width, 3D shape and surface distribution.

Outline Shape

Twin

Boards that are shaped for the park are designed with maximum center base width and minimal side base uplift. Creating a stable landing platform with confidence boosting forgiveness and next level agility. Think about your tricks not about your edges.

Nose Sidebase Uplift

High

The gradual side base uplift in the nose determines how the board will behave on snow. most effected are the edge to edge performance and the uplift generated when riding powder.

Tail Sidebase Uplift

High

The gradual side base uplift in the tail determines how the board will behave on snow. Any amount of uplift brings all the benefits of Triple Base Technology making our boards more versatile then others.

Camber Profile

Medium Camber

Camber profiles are defined from low to high. Higher camber make for more dynamic boards that need to be ridden more aggressively to get maximum performance. Lower camber boards are smoother on lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail. higher is not always better...

3D Shape

3BT™ + Sidekick™

Combining the responsiveness of traditional tip-to-tail camber with the dynamic shaping properties of Triple Base Technology and the performance boosting Sidekick feature makes for a 3D snowboarding experience like no other.

Glassing

Bi-Ax
Lamination

A traditional two-way weave that is light, strong and playful; it keeps the board snappy without adding torsional stiffness, which is great for getting creative.

Woodcore

Pop
Core

Our classic reliable full poplar woodcore.

Base

Hyper
Glide S

Our standard sintered base that’s durable and fast – and even faster when you keep it waxed.

Inserts

+4 Backseat
Inserts

Backseat inserts are extra inserts 4cm behind the bottom inserts. This allows you to set your bindings all the way back, so you can keep floating on those deep pow days. By shifting your weight more back on the board the nose stays up and the pressure on you back leg is reduced.

Sidewalls

Solid Walls
Sidewall

We use tried and trusted ABS sidewalls for most of the collection. For the best flex to strength ratio.

At the heart of every Bataleon is a combination of 3BT™ and positive camber. It’s an innovative solution to the profile puzzle that minimizes the potential for edge-catch without sacrificing ollie power or carving performance. From this starting point, we fine-tune each element according to the boards desired riding style.

SideKick™ builds on the concept of Triple Base by increasing the sidebase uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. The tips become more like a hull, boosting float in deep snow and slicing through crud. It also helps the board to roll quickly and evenly from edge to edge.

Supertubes™ are hollow carbon cylinders that are inserted directly into the core. They reinforce the camber, reduce weight and greatly increase pop. By varying their location we can fine-tune the board’s performance further.

Loving it!

I was riding a Nitro Banker before this. Which I liked, but it didn’t float well enough in powder. Moving to the Party Wave plus, I’ve noticed that it floats way better. This new board is wider than I’m used to, but still felt pretty flickable in the trees. It feels extremely stable and rider friendly.

Party wave is a good wave to ride

My party wave + came in and it looks amazing. Quality is there, looks are there, feel is there, the board rides exactly how I expected it to. Enough edge to carve up the hill side yet floaty at the same time. An all around good time.

Wooow

Finally I had the chance to try this board on a powder day. It was amazing I felt like I was surfing waves. Is crazy easy to control and almost impossible to get stuck. On the slopes is a bit more tricky because is super wide and you need speed to curve better. But honestly who care about slopes with this baby :)

Awesome fast board that can do almost anything

I weigh 160 lbs and got the 151.
This is my second party wave, I had a 2022 party wave (not plus) stolen from me and got this because I just had to replace it. Overall I don't think its THAT much stiffer than the original, its decent in chundery snow but still doesn't really smash through it like a lib or ns.
Still for sure my favorite snowboard I have ever owned, it floats amazingly in deep powder. Its super nimble in the trees due to its short length and really snaps the pockets in more tracked out areas. The width makes this a great board for steep couloirs and double blacks, I never feel like im booting out or losing control of my edge. This board is really fun for buttering off the nose and hitting fast wheelies over rollers on the tail. Side hits are a blast with this thing, I always leave it on reference stance and riding it switch isnt as bad is you might think. I kind of wish the top sheet was more interesting, its basically matte (the wood look in the pictures are misleading). But it does seem to shed the snow better than my old party wave so I cant really complain about it.
