Heat up the park

The Global Warmer was the first of its kind; a high end jib board with top of the line ingredients packed into a soft yet stable package. It can be ridden in the jib line or on the big kickers, making it one of the most functional jib boards on the market.

Features

Triple Base Technology™ is awesome. The lifted sidebase areas at the widest points of the board make a lot of sense. The boards turn smoother and faster and it helps when you are not completely clean on your landings.

SideKick™ dramatically increases the sidebase uplift at the widest points of the nose and tail. This makes turn initiation even smoother, increases float in powder and handling of the board in rough terrain.

SuperTubes™ are hollow carbon core upgrades that are inserted into the core in 3 different configurations. The hollow carbon tubes greatly increase the woodcore’s pop and reduce weight.

Materials & Construction

Our traditional and time tested two-way weave of fiberglass is light, strong and responsive; keeping the board snappy without adding torsional stiffness.

Our lightest 80-20 Swiss paulownia and poplar wood blend for the lightest strength to weight ratio.

Central Super Tube. Hollow carbon core upgrades that are inserted into the core. The hollow carbon tubes greatly increase the woodcore’s pop and reduce weight.

The type and placement of fiberglass greatly influences a board’s flex and riding characteristics. Boards are built with a layer of fiberglass above and below the woodcore.

Not a basic extruded base. It has the highest molecular content available for an extruded base. That means it’s super slick, durable and maintenance-free.

We use tried and trusted ABS sidewalls for most of the collection. For the best flex to strength ratio.

We use tried and trusted ABS sidewalls for most of the collection. For the best flex to strength ratio.

Producing two or more base color options minimizes p-tex waste. That is why you will find flip flop base options on most of our die-cut bases. This means orders can be filled with either color option which makes environmental sense.

Killing the park!

I’m in love with bataleon snowboards, probably not switching to anything else! I’ve had the bataleon fun kink (super fun board), but the global warmer is on another level! So playful, flexy and such a cool shape. TBT is amazing as well, saves me from catching edges all the time! People are complementing my board all the time as well:) Get this board if you want a flexy, playful park board!
Cheers

From park to pow

This board does everything. From jibbing on the rails to hitting cliffs. Global Warmer is 1 of my favorites for sure!

Best board ever. Can bracket challenge steep terrain and it carves like a blade. Way better than my Ride Machete. TBT is amazing and I will probably be riding Bataleon forever.

Definitely the most fun board I've ever owned. TBT took me a day to get used to but boyyyy is it funnnnn once you do. Just coming off of an epic snowstorm weekend here in the Northeast and this thing was so surfy and incredible in the conditions. Definitely unlike any other board I've ridden. Pretty sure I'm a Bataleon guy for life now...

Owned 2012 154 ET, 2014 154Airobic, And now 2018 GW 154. I like bombing hills and hitting kickers. I like spin tricks and backflips, the board is equal or greater than ET there. Airobic was torsionally flexy so it was not as fun at carving, but I liked the butters and ground spin tricks with that one. GW torsionally is stiffer than the effortless Airobic so it takes effort to do butters, but worth the sacrifice because high speed carving is a breeze. I’ve rode a few pretty well known “all mountain” twin boards and its a knife carving in comparison. My favorite is the stablility and flex it has. TBT literally made me a more aggressive rider. I can’t think of why I’d ever leave to ride something else. My younger brother rides TBT after he tried my ET, and there’s no reason to leave. GW is my favorite, in my brain I imagine what my ideal board should feel like.. and this is it....just needs more stickers :p
