      The legend continues.

The Evil Twin has been at the heart of the 3D revolution since we launched our first line at the turn of the millennium. It’s a rider favorite that’s been lovingly upgraded year after year to keep it ahead of the pack. Now rocking carbon milled straight into the core and SideKicks at the wide points, it turns better than ever on groomers and can still be relied on to destroy every feature in the park. Accept no substitute.

Softer snowboards are easier to press and won’t kick your ass if you make a mistake. Stiffer decks are more stable at speed and super responsive edge-to-edge. Choose your poison.

Maximum volume for surfy vibes in the pow, or a smaller surface area for nimble freestyle performance. This number is calculated with length, width, 3D shape and surface distribution.

What’s this board’s natural home? Full send in the park? Elbows down on the trails? Or chucking roosters somewhere off grid?

        Carbon Layup

Our three-way weave of fiberglass is light, strong and responsive. We use this to beef up the flex pattern.

Our very light 70-30 paulownia and poplar wood blend for an unparalleled strength to weight ratio.

        Special Sauce

Central Super Tube. Hollow carbon core upgrades that are inserted into the core. The hollow carbon tubes greatly increase the woodcore’s pop and reduce weight.

        Carbon Lay-ups

The type and placement of fiberglass greatly influences a board’s flex and riding characteristics. Boards are built with a layer of fiberglass above and below the woodcore.

        Base Tech

Our standard sintered base that’s tough and fast, and faster when waxed.

        Base Tech

Producing two or more base color options minimizes p-tex waste. That is why you will find flip flop base options on most of our die-cut bases. This means orders can be filled with either color option which makes environmental sense.

Triple Base Technology™ is awesome. The lifted sidebase areas at the widest points of the board make a lot of sense. The boards turn smoother and faster and it helps when you are not completely clean on your landings.

SideKick™ dramatically increases the sidebase uplift at the widest points of the nose and tail. This makes turn initiation even smoother, increases float in powder and handling of the board in rough terrain.

SuperTubes™ are hollow carbon core upgrades that are inserted into the core in 3 different configurations. The hollow carbon tubes greatly increase the woodcore’s pop and reduce weight.

        159 Evil Twin 2021

For those who may be lurking on this page researching or deciding if they should buy a Bataleon, I've had 10 days or so, on the 159 Evil Twin.
        6’1” 195 lbs, 10.5 boot, 45 years old.
I’m coming from a 2016 159 Gnu carbon credit, which has the Magna traction edges and I’m riding the northeast (Camelback, PA predominantly).
First run on the Bataleon was a game changer! Spins on flat, no problem, edges are there when you need them. This thing is great, all round fun, but hard charger. Took it into the basic park, flowing around and was fun, and handled the steeper double blacks with ease.
I need to let my 17 year old take a few laps, as he is more freestyle park focused to see what he thinks too, but the 3bt is awesome! Have no concerns about initiating the edges, the camber falls right back in and the edges hold strong!

The 3BT allows switch riding to progress/improve at a very fast rate, as the edges do not impede, when riding in an un-natural stance. This thing is very forgiving. I'm now much more comfortable riding switch into and out of jumps, so landing 180's and 360's are progressing very quickly.

This board is a game changer.

It's my favorite board, but I broke it from simple trick in jib(

        Evil Twin deliveres again

Same as always a board that does it all, reliable, agressive when you need it and soft in the right spots. Super responsive and good to press.

        Sweet ride

I am 5’9 and about 155lbs so got a 154cm eviltwin, due to the floods in BC it took awhile to get the board but I am glad I still got it. I have never tried 3BT before so it is a very unique sensation feels like you won’t catch an edge at all. I like how it almost feels like you are floating when pressing on the nose or tail. Can’t wait to ride it more this season and will be taking it up to whistler next week! Hope to try more bataleon boards I am amazed by the tech.

        Great board!

One sentence to describe the Evil Twin, "It's got my back".

Rides great in all conditions especially when hitting rails and all size jumps. The ride feels a little heavy when riding powder, but the float is there nonetheless.

There are times where I would have fallen, tomahawked, or catch an edge, but the 3BT just saves me. Very versatile and nimble once you get used to the board feel.

I usually detune my ends but I rode it straight out of the box and had no issues on the rails and boxes.

My only worry is the durability of the top sheet. The nose end of the top sheet got a slight peel off when it tapped another board as I was about to get up the chair lift. You cannot avoid banging into other people's boards/skis when in line and this was the first hit I received and it already peeled while other boards I own just get dinged (after many, many hits and collisions).
