I've been snowboarding since 2018 and never felt confident or felt like my ability was improving! That was until last week when I got to demo a Bataleon Distortia!!! WOW! It was night and day! So much fun, and I felt instantly more confident, faster, better at initiating and making turns and honestly, like I went from beginner/ intermediate to FULL ON intermediate in just 5 runs!
I was able to then borrow this board again to practice for 2 hours and I had not even left the car park, when I logged online and placed an order!!!!
I cannot begin to describe how amazing this board makes me feel. It's like we were meant to be together !!!
Now I am so excited for the season ahead and our Canada trip next month as I'll be super happy, confident and now believe in my own ability to. All thanks to the Distortia
This board is sooo much fun to ride! First time buying a park specific board and the distortia did NOT disappoint. Got my backflips dialed without a problem and it slides so easy on rails. The TBT just gave me more confidence of not catching my edges!
As a lifelong Forum fanatic, I felt lost last season when my Spinster suddenly bit it (literally, on a wooden deck) and sent me scrambling to find something I loved as much. It took time, but like finding any strong partner, the wait was worth it. I bought the Distortia this season as my first Bataleon board ever and I love it. This board delivers. I ride mainly inbounds with some side country (my knees are a touch too well seasoned to be sending it off big jumps and features in the park anymore, though it’s insanely fun and poppy for messing around on natural features and buttering). I have ridden powder, groomers, and straight up icy chowder. The Distortia hangs with you through all of the above, and we haven’t even taken a run through the park yet. It is flexible but not noodly and turn initiation is a dream. This board makes carving super fun! It took a run or two to get used to the 3BT feel and shape, but it made ripping around through different conditions easy. I recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile all around fun board. From a purely aesthetic standpoint, the graphic on this board is beautiful and this is by far the most interesting/badass looking women’s board I have seen available for this season.
