Features

Triple Base Technology™ is awesome. The lifted sidebase areas at the widest points of the board make a lot of sense. The boards turn smoother and faster and it helps when you are not completely clean on your landings.

SideKick™ dramatically increases the sidebase uplift at the widest points of the nose and tail. This makes turn initiation even smoother, increases float in powder and handling of the board in rough terrain.

Materials & Construction

Our traditional and time tested two-way weave of fiberglass is light, strong and responsive; keeping the board snappy without adding torsional stiffness.

Full poplar with beech hardwood laid tip to tail along the inserts strengthening the board’s backbone, reinforcing the inserts and producing more pop.

Not a basic extruded base. It has the highest molecular content available for an extruded base. That means it’s super slick, durable and maintenance-free.

Producing two or more base color options minimizes p-tex waste. That is why you will find flip flop base options on most of our die-cut bases. This means orders can be filled with either color option which makes environmental sense.

We use tried and trusted ABS sidewalls for most of the collection. For the best flex to strength ratio.

Super playful

Love how playful the board is! Very catch-free but you can still carve a mean trench; poppy but has the right flex for goofing off. I'm not a skull fan but that's what stickers are for!

A board for progressing and shredding. Destroy everything!

I bought this board at the end of the season. I shut down the last 2 days of the season at Carinthia on this deck. Took 1 run to fall in love with the 3BT. Butters and presses are effortless. Catching an edge is almost impossible. Not only was this the most fun I ever had buttering and jibbing on this deck but it just sends! You pop and boost much further on this thing and it feels feather light! Handles big booters with ease! Which I was surprised because it’s so soft. This is the perfect board not only for park rats and huck monsters but it’s just fun to cruise on and use the mountain as your skatepark. If you’re sleeping on this deck put the gravity bong down and just pick one up. You won’t regret it.

Catching Feelings, not edges

The bataleon disaster was love at first sight.

Very soft, lightweight, simple & clean.

Unique shape makes it near impossible to catch an edge while RIPPIN’ the butters!

I’m coming off of a Ride Machete, a slightly stiffer (because of carbon) all-mountain board.

This Disaster board is everything my old board was not

Fun

Soft jib board, but it can surprisingly handle light carves. However, it’s not a full blown noodle and does have snap to it. I would rate this softer than a gnu headspace, and two notches softer than the capita DOA.

Crazy Flex

First time buying a bataleon with this board and couldn’t be happier. This thing is ridiculously fun, so flexible!
